Atlas Counseling provides specialized mental health and wellness services designed to strengthen resilience, support healing, and improve overall quality of life. Our approach recognizes that well-being extends beyond symptoms alone. Therapy is provided within a safe, supportive, and collaborative environment using a holistic, individualized approach that considers the emotional, physical, relational, occupational, and personal factors that shape each person’s experience.
Atlas Counseling has a strong commitment to serving individuals within law enforcement, fire, EMS, corrections, dispatch, other public safety and first responder professions, and healthcare. These careers can carry demands that are difficult to understand outside of the profession, including repeated exposure to critical incidents, cumulative stress, organizational pressures, moral injury, disrupted sleep, relationship strain, and the expectation to continue performing under pressure. . You do not have to carry that weight alone. Through culturally responsive, evidence-informed therapeutic services, we work collaboratively to address the impact of the job, strengthen existing skills, develop effective strategies for managing stress, and support long-term mental health, wellness, and resilience.
Our goal is not simply to help individuals manage difficult experiences, but to support them in building a sustainable and meaningful life, both on and off duty.
Pet Friendly
For many people, animals provide a sense of comfort, grounding, and emotional safety. Atlas Counseling recognizes that having a trusted pet nearby may help some individuals feel more comfortable and engaged in the therapeutic process.
If you believe having your pet present would support your experience in therapy, please bring this up during your initial session. We can discuss your needs and determine whether appropriate accommodations can be made.
